Sound Assembly (1996)
Sound Assembly was a 1995/6 Acid Jazz Funk band developed on the west coast and signed to the Moonshine Music record label.
Prior to the band’s formation, our firm acted as manager for the lead vocalist, producing a demonstration tape of his vocal stylings that ultimately attracted the attention of the band’s co-founder.
Upon Sound Assembly securing an offer to produce an album on the Moonshine Music record label, we were asked to consult on the negotiations of the recording contract.  This was followed by an offer to manage the band through the production of its album, In The Pocket, as well as throughout its west coast album promotional tour.
At its height, Sound Assembly’s featured track, 95 Degrees But Cool, was a lead-in track on NBC Sports.  All eleven tracks on the In The Pocket album are still available for download on the Itunes worldwide audio catalog.
